Repeat Prescriptions

Patients can now  order repeat prescriptions online. If you wish to register please call into Southdene Medical Centre for your registration to be completed. You must bring photo ID with you. If already registered click on the link above to order a repeat prescription.
Nice_blue_pillsIf you are taking regular medication you may request a repeat prescription, either by bringing your repeat slip, with required boxes ticked, to the surgery, putting it in the box provided in the lobby or posting it to us.

Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription directly through this site. Click on the link above and complete the simple registration form.

Electronic prescriptions can now be sent to any pharmacy of your choice. The pharmacy and the surgery can liaise and repeat medication can be issued to the pharmacy directly. You do not have to contact the surgery to request most of your repeat medication. Please speak to surgery staff for details and to register for the electronic prescription service.

Please allow 48 hours’ notice when requesting a repeat prescription. You will be requested to have your repeat medication reviewed regularly.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.

If you are unable to pick up your prescription and you would prefer it, you can send a stamped addressed envelope and your prescription will be posted to you or picked up by the Chemist at your request.

Prescriptions will not be given to children under 16 years.

Please note, repeat prescriptions requested on a Friday will not be ready until Tuesday.

We do not prescribe antibiotics for coughs and colds.
